C´an Delio Restaurant was established by our Father Delio Preto in 1985 with a family feeling and taking advantage of the growing tourist population or Menorca. Our family has always been attached to the sea. Our grand father, a boat carpenter, built the boats that our father used to do the fishing for our restaurant, he used to bring in all kinds of fish and lobsters for our restaurant, being one of the only ones with its own fishing boat, until he retired in the mid ninety´s. The menorquin was another boat that our grand father built in the early sixty´s, that was used as a tourist boat until we acquired the submarine vision catamarans in the early ninety´s: Menorqui and Berguiner. Since then all of the family works in the restaurant, maintaining the marine tradition of our ancestors.
